Former advisor at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic on the agenda of the Regulatory Framework of Civil Society Organizations. Professor in media and entertainment courses. Author of the book “Right to Culture and NGOs”, by Editora Lumen Juris. Author of several articles on public funding for entertainment.

    Fabio Cesnik

    Fábio Cesnik holds a BA in Law and Legal Sciences from the São Paulo University – USP. Specialist in culture, media and entertainment. For eight years in a row Ranked in Chambers and Partners as specialist lawyer in media and entertainment. Chairman of IASP’s Media and Entertainment and member of OAB-SP Rights to the Arts Commission. Member of the Executive Committee of Entertainment and Intellectual Property Section (ELIPS) from LACBA (Los Angeles County Bar Association). He is the author of the books “Globalização da Cultura” and “Guia do Incentivo à Cultura” (in its third printing), published by Editora Manole. He is co-author “Projetos Culturais: Elaboração, Administração, Aspectos Legais e Busca de Patrocínio” (now on its fourth edition), published by Editora Escrituras.

    Fernando Quintino

    Degree in Law to the University of São Paulo Law School. He has worked in several law firms in São Paulo. He has been a partner at Cesnik, Quintino & Salinas Advogados since 2002. He studied social pedagogy at the University of Siegen – Germany. He was Vice-President of União Cultural Brasil Estados Unidos. He participated in workshops on sustainable development in Stockholm promoted by TNS Sweden. Specialist in Corporate Law with focus on entertainment, media and NGOs. Co-author of the book “Administration in Health”, published by Editora Doc. Author of several articles for Revista Integração – FGV/SP and Revista de Cinema.

    Gilberto Toscano

    Graduated in Law at Universidade de São Paulo – USP and Post-Graduated in Entertainment Law at Escola Superior de Direito da OAB/SP. Gilberto Toscano worked as legal and business affairs at O2 Filmes. Toscano advises broadcasters, production companies, distributors, digital platforms, talents and other companies. He is a speaker and professor at various events and courses on entertainment and is Vice-President of the Author Rights and Entertainment Commission at the Brazilian Bar Association in Rio de Janeiro.

  • Guilherme Carboni Partner

    Guilherme Carboni

    Graduated in Law from Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and in Social Communication from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). Doctor and Master in Civil Law from USP Law School with Post-Doctorate at ECA-USP. He was a visiting researcher in Sociology of Law at the Università Degli Studi di Milano, Italy. He is a post-graduate professor of Law at FGV-SP (GVLaw). He is arbitrator and mediator accredited in controversies related to Copyright in the scope of the Ministry of Culture. He was a UNESCO consultant on the subject of Copyright and Digital Libraries.  He coordinated the Pensando o Direito project promoted by UNDP and the Secretariat for Legislative Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, on the subject Copyright and Internet. He was also Coordinator of the Copyright Committee of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) and the Copyright area of the Institute of International Trade and Development Law (IDCID). Author of the books Copyright in the Multimedia, Social Role of Copyright, Copyright and Collaborative Authorship in the Economics of Network Information, as well as several articles on intellectual property. Coordinates the area of Contracts, Intellectual Property and New Technologies at the Firm.

    Leo Wojdyslawski

    Graduated in Law from Pontifical University of São Paulo. Post-graduated in Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law, Copyrights, Trademarks, Patents and Technology Transfer by GV-Law, São Paulo. He was professor lecturer in the graduation course of Publishing at the School of Publishing of the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo (USP).  Specialist in litigation for Copyright Law, industrial property and entertainment. He acts for clients of the media and entertainment market and industrial property in the defense of interests in the judicial and extrajudicial sphere, in the mediation of agreements and management of lawsuits. Author of articles published in specialized media.
